How to Reroll Mass Outbreaks in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
For those who are unaware, Mass Outbreaks are an event in which a specific Pokemon spawns in waves. As you continue to defeat the Mass Outbreak, the odds of finding a Shiny Pokemon increase.
Now, you can reroll one of your Mass Outbreaks to a Pokemon of your choosing, however it may take a bit. Here’s how to do just that!
To reroll a Mass Outbreak in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, all you need to do is change the date of your Nintendo Switch by one day. This can be forward or backward.
Here’s how to change the date on your Switch:
- Go to Switch Settings
- Scroll Down to System
- Hit Date and Time
- In Date and Time, change your day by one
- Make sure to hit “OK”
After doing this correctly, you should receive a notification and your Mass Outbreak should be rerolled. Unfortunately, it will not spawn in the same spot, making it a bit harder to make it to each Outbreak.
However, you do not need to completely close your game to do this. You can keep going back into Settings and adjusting the date without closing your game.
Once you get the location and Pokemon of your choosing, you can then proceed to defeat the Outbreak and hope for a Shiny Pokemon.
It is also important to know that you cannot reroll your outbreak by closing and opening your game. This will result in you getting the same exact outbreak over and over.
