NVIDIA has officially announced the release of their new graphic cards: the RTX 4080 and the RTX 4090. After almost 2 full years of waiting, the heavily anticipated NVIDIA 40 series graphics cards are finally on the way! In fact, the 4090 will be available to purchase on October 12th, 2022… if you can get your hands on it of course. While this is great, do we know the RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 price? Let’s get into it!
How Much Does the NVIDIA RTX 4090 Cost?
If you are like most people, the decision to purchase the brand new RTX 4090 is heavily determined by its price. The official RTX 4090 price has been announced to be set at $1,599. While this is obviously extremely expensive, those in the market for a GPU must realize this is the most impressive card on the market!
The RTX 4090 specs are no joke. Featuring a whopping 24GB of VRAM, an exceptionally efficient power consumption and a base clock of 2.23GHZ; the RTX 4090 will likely be able to run virtually any new video game for the next 10 years.
Of course, the RTX 4090 can also be overclocked. It’s max-clock speed is stated to get to 2.52 GHz, however you can likely push it a bit harder!
How Much does the RTX 4080 Cost?
As stated above, NVIDIA has also announced the RTX 4080. This card is still immensely powerful, however it is at a much cheaper price point. This makes the RTX 4080 a great option for those on a budget.
The RTX 4080 price will start at $899, which is still not cheap by any means. However, the power you are receiving with the 4080 is well worth the money.
This card features both a 12GB VRAM model as well as a 16GB VRAM model. The 16GB is obviously more expensive, starting at $1,199.
Both of the RTX 4080 models will be releasing sometime in November, which is a bit later than the October 12th release of the RTX 4090.
